Cal had appointments with her GI and Neuro doctors today. Her Gi doc is very happy with her progress in the weight department so we have been excused from the nightly g-tube feedings; which is a blessing considering she HATES them. He wants up to continue with the bolus feeds during the day and when she starts PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities) he wants her to get bolus feeds there too. She is eating great and anything you give her! It is so exciting how much progress she is making. Cal is truly becoming a big girl!!
At the neuro appointment, the doctor decided to increase her anti-seizure medication dosage since she is gaining weight. Chris and I have noticed a lot more absence seizures, so we agreed with his decision to increase the dosage.
Over all it was a great trip with lots of progress. She will go back in 4 months for GI and 3 months for neuro. We are so lucky to have a little girl who prevails in all she does!!!
