Well...I tried my hardest to avoid a feeding tube for Calleigh, but when we went into a weight check with Dr. O'Conner on 3/2/07, she had lost 10 ounces in 2 weeks. Needless to say...this was not good news! Dr. O'Conner said it was time to go ahead a schedule her surgery. I have an appointment with the surgeon on 3/9/07 and the surgery will happen sometime during the week of April 2. I am sad that I could not help Calleigh avoid this situation and in my heart it still feels like the wrong decision...but I now that it is the right thing to do to help her grow and excel with her development...more to come!
