Shaney and Deirdre returned from a month long visit in Maryland on September 8th and on the 10th, Shaney started school at Saegert as a kindergartner! Cam and Shaney were so excited to go to school together yet we were all a little disappointed when we found out they were not in the same class. After the first day, it did not matter that they were not in the same class! They walk to and from school together and see each other at lunch and recess...who would ask for more??!!
As you all know the Haywards will be moving to Fort Carson Colorado at the end of November. We are all very sad and not looking forward to the move. Such is life in the military and we are doing our best to prepare our boys for the life change. So today marked their last first together. They have experienced all of their firsts together since birth...first time rolling over, sitting, crawling and walking; first tooth, first haircut, first deployment, first time at the Schwimbad (German pool), first birthdays and the list goes on! I kind of feel like we are actually separating brothers! That is the one complaint I have about the military...they take away your family...
