In July and August of 2002, two boys were born five weeks apart. Since that time, these boys have only spent a few weeks here and a few weeks there away from each other. They have experienced many firsts together...seconds...thirds...fourths...etc. Best friends were created and they developed into something more...they are brothers. Tonight we had to say goodbye to the Haywards as they entered into a new chapter in their life. Newly promoted WO1 Hayward and his family made their journey to Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our families have experienced so much together as friends and as parents of two AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL boys. It was so hard to see them go, but we know that we are always here for each other, are only a phone call away, and with the military...who knows...maybe we will be together again. But for now, we say see you later Haywards....never goodbye! XO
