Talk about bringing back memories! When we lived in Germany, we made many great friends. All if not most of you know about my BF Kim and her family and the Haywards as well. Shaney and Cameron literally grew up together until we moved to TX when Cam was almost 18 months old, but then of course shortly after the Haywards were stationed in TX as well. What a lot of you probably don't know is that there WAS a third musketeer...Peyton Chappel! Peyton was born just two weeks after Cameron and while we have had the pleasure of watching Shaney grow...we have not seen the Chappels since January of 2004. That all changed on August 4!!!! Cece and Peyton were in TX visiting her in-laws, so we got to get together, BBQ and let the boys play...just like old times! Of course, the boys did not quite understand the history that they had with each other...but us mommies sure did! We had a great afternoon and us mommies had an even greater evening (its so gooooooood!)!! Memories rushed in like a flood and we chatted about what it was like when the boys were younger and how they are five or quickly approaching five and starting kindergarten. It is amazing what time can do! It was great to see the Chappels and have our boys back together!
